The Shabbat Tent Team has set up a provisional Shabbat Tent in the Volunteer Camping Area – Lot 4B
From 6:30-7:30pm TONIGHT they will be hosting candle lighting, kiddush, and a pot-luck dinner.
They have some nice Herzog Syrah wine to make kiddush, bring your food!
Look for a blue canopy with the Shabbat Tent sign!
Everyone who comes gets a free Jewlicious Festival CD!

Unpacking at Wakarusa

We are gearing up for Coachella – our first biz is to figure out how to gather all the supplies we need. We own a bunch of gear, but we don’t have everything we need, plus, we need other help bringing stuff into camping. We are not allowed to bring a uhaul, and only own a minivan…

Here are some of the supplies that we are going to need. If you have a way of getting any of these – let us know!

FOOD:
Fruits (2 Crates) Vegis (2 Crates) Tuna
Challah (30) bagels (10 dozen) Wine (2 cases)
Cookies (lots) olive oil 1gal chips (5 bags)
tortillas (5 bags) salsa lots hummous lots
Pickles 10 cans olives 10 cans Cakes (lots)

any other vegi foodstuffs

SUPPLIES
Water Coolers
Folding Chairs
Folding Tables
10foot or larger pop up canopy

Are you interested in a Shabbat Tent Coachella 2010?

Let us know by filling out the volunteer form – and we will send you any info we have.

As always – our major hurdle is funding. We need funds to bring in the people, equipment, and food that is needed.

But it doesn’t cost a fortune at all. We just need some people willing to contribute what they can, a few sponsors, and we can do this.
